“From a young age, I was always interested in how things work and curious about whether I could take them apart and put them back together again. Taking the apprenticeship route allows me to get my foot in the door as I get to learn new skills and gain knowledge while getting my hands dirty!”

Barnaby Evans outside HGV after course

“I completed the HGV training with Telford College. My tutor explained everything clearly and provided helpful and insightful feedback on my assessments. I decided to do this course for a change of career. I knew I’d love to drive a HGV but the cost of the course was always out of my budget, so the free course with Telford College was a great opportunity. I’m really glad I did this course, as now I have a job I really enjoy doing.”
