Our lively and supportive campus has been purpose-built to offer the best facilities resources, study centers and training hubs.
£2.5m 7th Form centre for A levels, a bespoke facility including virtual reality equipment.
Telford College is expanding its hi-tech resource bank by investing around £750,000 in a suite of virtual and augmented reality facilities. The top floor of the 7th Form centre is to be transformed, thanks to more than half a million pounds of funding from the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership.
Our £3.5m Automotive Centre
Including three specialist workshops, our automotive centre is just like industry workplaces and students gain hands-on experience from the get-go.
We also have very strong links with many local businesses, from major motor dealerships to smaller, independent garages.
Our £2.5m Construction Centre
Here we teach all aspects of construction industries, including: painting and decorating, plastering, bricklaying, tiling, plumbing, electrical installation and carpentry.
A huge expansion is currently underway, to reflect demand from students and to supply the vast number of careers on offer in Telford.
Our £3m Discovery Centre
The technology we have available includes: Computer Aided Design (CAD) suite, welding bays, milling stations, robotics and computer numerical control machines.
The centre allows students to learn about both practical aspects of engineering and also more advanced tuition for the career landscape of today.
Our £2.5m Creative Hub
Complete with Apple Macs, art and design studios, media suites, print room, dark rooms and gallery space, we have a range of creative areas and equipment to ensure that our students get to maximise their experience before entering industry.
These facilities are so good, some of Shropshire’s biggest employers commission Telford College’s art and design students to work on their real-life projects.

We also have a professional studio for dance and drama lessons, as well as for fitness groups. This features a mirrored wall, ballet bar and sound system.
Our gym is free to use by our staff and students, although all visitors to the gym must complete a gym induction. Equipment includes: spinning bikes, rowing machines, treadmills, squat machine, leg curler and shoulder, chest & leg presses.
