Telford College is taking learning to a new hi-tech level by investing around £750,000 in a suite of virtual and augmented reality facilities.

£3.5m Automotive Centre includes three specialist workshops and strong links with
dealerships and garages. Automotive courses can be found here

The Orange Tree Restaurant

Our restaurant opened its doors to customers, students and staff alike in January 2014.Telford College student working in the Orange tree restaurant  kitchens

The two professional standard kitchens are designed to the highest specifications with the latest catering equipment for creating exceptional food. One kitchen is designed to create a realistic working environment similar to a large restaurant or hotel kitchen, whilst the other is designed as an accessible training kitchen with adjustable equipment suitable for students with mobility issues.

The restaurant can seat up to 50 and we are happy to cater for children and any type of dietary need. We have already hosted many high profile events since opening, most recently including a debate with local MPs on the EU referendum.

8- NEW Music & science technology engineering and maths (STEM) facilities featuring music and performance facilities and a science, technology, engineering and maths hub.

9- The Telford College Sports complex is a modern facility which caters for a large and diverse range of sports.

As well as accommodating the day to day curricular use of the college students it also functions as a venue to support numerous community led schemes and initiatives as well as playing home to many local, regional and national sides as a playing and training venue. Our sports courses can be found here 

The facility was named in the London 2012 handbook as an earmarked training establishment with particular emphasis on basketball, badminton and football.

Our sports and fitness facilities include

Dance and Aerobics studio
A professional studio with a mirrored wall perfect for dance and drama lessons. This facility is also used by external dance and fitness groups on a weekly basis for judo, karate, tai chi, yoga, Pilates, aerobics classes, ballet and dance.

Gym

The Telford College gymnasium is free to use by our staff and students, a timetable of sessions is available from Telford College Sport reception which includes a females only gym session on Wednesday lunch times.
Tuition is available from one of our very own qualified personal trainers and all visitors to the gym must complete a gym induction.

You can also make the most out of our qualified personal trainers at TCAT. You have the options to come and participate in High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) or to use the gym at your leisure (time restrictions apply when full time students are on site)

Indoor pitches- our Superdome this a 3G indoor football pitch ideal for all year round uninterrupted use with pitches laid to football and rugby specifications.

Outdoor pitches- We have a professional standard 3G all-weather pitch, which can be split into 2 half pitches and has printing for other sports including rounders. We were awarded funding by Sport England to install this facility in 2013.
