Basic Wound Care

This session will contain theory and simulated practice within a clinical skills learning environment. Theory content will include related anatomy and physiology, evidence-based practice processes including managing simple wounds and skin closure removal, and how to identify and reduce associated risk and infection prevention.

Simulated practice will be facilitated by a Clinical Educator promoting a safe learning environment. Following the session learners will be given a Certificate of Attendance.
