On this foundation diploma course, you can gain your Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and undertake work experience. You will study a wide range of topics and units including health, safety and welfare in construction and the built environment, sustainable construction, mathematics in construction and the built environment, science and materials in construction and the built environment. You will also learn more about building technology in construction, graphical detailing in construction and the built environment, measuring, estimating and tendering process in construction, setting out process in construction and civil engineering and building surveying in construction. This mainly classroom-based course offers unique training from industry experts and can lead to careers in areas such as architecture, land surveying, building control, civil or structural engineering and building management.
