Telford College’s cyber security adult course, which will empower adult students to get a head start in the industry and progress onto either further education or employment. This will allow participants the chance to develop skills in one of the fastest-growing and in demand areas in today’s IT industry. Students must complete the 6 mandatory units, which will be ran over a 36-week period in 6-week rolling blocks.
Progression onto courses at level 4 or higher apprenticeships.
This qualification is suitable for students aged 19 and above and would be required to have completed a Level 2 in either IT or Cyber Security or have an understanding of this sector and be on the national living wage or less.
The course is suitable for those looking to consolidate their knowledge of Cyber Security and learn practical skills, which can be used to seek work or proceed into a study course at Level 4 or higher apprenticeship.
This qualification is fully funded within the catchment areas. However, this will exclude areas of postcodes not within the government’s designated areas.
