For September 2020, enrolment is a little different, with enrolment starting earlier for some students.

Information for Students – Release of results

GCSEs will be available to view from 8:00am on 20 August on ProPortal. A statement of results will also be sent to your College email address.

This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it will not be possible for you to collect results in person. However, if you require a printed copy of your statement of results please email exams@telfordcollege.ac.uk and a copy will be posted to the address held on record by the College.

BTEC and Cambridge Technical results will not be available on 20 August.  The College is awaiting further advice from the awarding bodies.  Students will be sent an update once these are available.

If you have concerns about your results or you are thinking about sitting exams in the autumn, please contact the College on 01952 642200 or email info@telfordcollege.ac.uk. Your query will be directed to the relevant member of staff who can assist you. We have people on hand to discuss your next steps, further exams or querying the accuracy of grades.

Progressing students

Students who have already completed at least one year with us – will be invited in to complete and sign their enrolment paperwork, collect their ID badge, find out when their first day is and other key information.

Students will receive a letter and/or email confirming their enrolment appointment starting early August (depending if you are waiting for exam results).

New students

Will receive a letter asking them to complete an online enrolment form and initial assessment. It will also contain confirmation of when they need to come in to complete their enrolment.

Coming into college to complete your enrolment

Enrolment has been planned to ensure safety measures are in place, it is imperative that you attend your appointment on time.

If you are unable to make your appointment you need to contact us or email start2020@telfordcollege.ac.uk to rearrange your appointment.

You will be invited in for enrolment in small groups dependent on your area of study.

Frequently asked questions

Face coverings are not required in colleges but it is at the user’s discretion if they wish to wear one.

Please note: we will ask you to remove the mask if we need to confirm your identity or to take an ID photo.

Parents/guardians will be asked to wait in our Orange Tree restaurant while you complete your enrolment – unless they are your carer or you are unable to complete enrolment alone.

Please arrive at main reception, off the main car park – if you are driving or being dropped off, our car park assistants will be able to direct you as you come through the barrier.
