Our public uniformed services courses are designed specifically for people who are seeking a career in the Police, Fire Service or the Armed Forces. You’ll get a chance to travel and develop physically active routines and make an informed judgement about whether you are cut out for a career in public services.

“I came to Telford College and completed Public Uniformed Services Level 3. I enjoyed the course, in my opinion, no other course would have prepared me so well to join the Marines.

Kai, who completed a Level 3 diploma in Sport during his time at the college, began his rugby playing career with Telford Hornets – a club he has retained a close association with. He has also played for Newport.

Speaking about his time at the college, he said: “I couldn’t have selected a better course to develop me as a whole person, and not just academically.”

Armando Leger wins college's biggest award

Public Uniformed Services student Armando Leger wins the Victor Ludorum Award for his commitment to his course and the college. 

Armando also spoke at the National College Conference and said: “Telford College offers lots of advice on life skills and how to enhance your future and have a good career.”
