About the role

Due to growth and internal movement within the Engineering, Aviation, Automotive and Construction team, we have some attractive roles arising for anyone with a skillset and knowledge base around these areas. If you have experience from previous roles such as working in the military, motor vehicle technician, aviation engineering then this may be the right career move for you. We are looking for individuals who will strive to meet the following:

  • Contribute to the college’s pursuit of outstanding quality of teaching with a student first approach to everything you do.
  • Support our diverse and individual student collective, ensuring they can achieve the best possible grades.
  • Plan and develop highly effective teaching in subjects’ within your bespoke area.

As a basic requirement for the roles available, we are looking for those who have Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or PTLLS) and are aspiring to gain further experience in teaching.  Here at Telford College, we will provide the guidance, support and qualification to become a Teacher and be fully integrated into the team. These roles are full time, 52.14 weeks a year with working hours to be discussed with the hiring manager. This is a great opportunity to join a leading team in the area for these subjects in a centre that has been refurbished and refreshed for our students. Qualifications and training

Teaching qualification, e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLs, or a firm commitment to achieve a Diploma in Education and Training (DET)

Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1, TAQA, CAVA) - Desirable

Relevant Vocational Qualification at Level 3 (Motor Vehicle) (e.g. NVQ Level 3/Level 3 Work-based Diploma)
