About the role

We have a niche role available within the construction team for an assessor.

This particular role will be a development opportunity for anyone who has experience in jobs such as design engineer, building project management, qualified electricians within housing associations.

Within the role you will be able to assess practical and theoretical modules to our learners.

You will develop your work programme to ensure the best quality resources and systems are provided to your students that are relevant to this subject.

With your experience of working in electrical installation roles previously you will be able to give career advice and guidance for our students who will considering opportunities post college years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Functional Skills Initial Assessment, Diagnostics, End Tests and provide appropriate delivery and support where required.
  • Identify, develop and report to the Business Programme Managers, identify to the Business Development Executives any further/additional business opportunities within the employer delivering training for.
  • Maintain contact with customer base and visit as required to ensure progress and quality delivery of qualifications and training.
  • Support your colleagues in the assessment of their candidate portfolios.
