About the role

We are seeking an experienced & outstanding administration support for the wider High Needs department and provide administrative support to ensure an exceptionally well-coordinated and rigorous annual EHCP review process for circa 180 students across the college, coordinating information from a wide range of staff within the college, students, parents, multi professionals and Local Authorities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate a rigorous review process for circa 180 students with Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCP) ensuring that Outlook calendars are managed accordingly.
  • Work in collaboration with relevant external parties, managers, teachers and LSAs across all college departments to ensure EHCP information is collated and shared in a professional and timely manner, prior to and following EHCP review meetings.
  • Communicate verbally in a professional and effective manner, positively engaging a range of listeners such as parents/ carers and students from different backgrounds with varying abilities.
Skills, knowledge and expertise

Qualifications and training

  • Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* – C, or equivalent) in maths and English or a willingness to attain these qualifications with the support of the College.
  • Level 3 Administration Qualification

Skills and expertise

  • Experience of carrying out administrative tasks in a busy office environment working collaboratively with all college teams
  • Ability to work proactively and use initiative to taking responsibility for prioritising work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
