About the role

Working within the Digital & Professional Studies Team you will be delivering a curriculum to a classroom of between 12 – 28 students.

If you come from a background of managing or teaching project management this role is ideal for you as the curriculum covers managing software systems.

The successful candidate will also hold some knowledge of one or more of the following systems: Python, AWS Virtualization & Sequel.

This role focuses on branding, engagement and communication systems and teaching students how to manage business software in any role they strive for post their college years.

All students will be PC literate therefore the working environment is the same.

Qualifications and training

  • You will require a degree in Computer Science and will also have will have a teaching qualification such as Level 3 in education.

Skills and expertise

  • Deliver and teach L1 to HND to agreed success targets.
  • Maintain quality systems related to the teaching of Computing including designing work schemes, lesson plans, assessment plans and assessment activities.
  • Develop quality resources (including e-resources) which support the development of Computing
