About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Marketing & Communications officer.

This purpose of this role is to promote Telford College within the local community including young people, schools, parents and employers.

This role allows you to think out of the box and be creative, bringing your ideas and skills to develop and deliver campaigns.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Telford College within the local community.
  • Manage the production of the College’s corporate publications
  • Write engaging social media to promote courses, achievements, recruitment and projects.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns and report on their results
  • Work and support marketing with college events as required.
Skills, knowledge and expertise

Qualifications and training

  • GCSE’s English & Maths grade C or above.
  • Marketing Degree level qualification or equivalent desirable
  • Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Qualification desirable.

Skills and expertise

  • Experience in some/all of the following copywriting for: course guides, promotional literature, social media posts, web content.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with young people and adults.
  • Experience in using platforms such as Google Adwords and Facebook business manager.
