Our adult programmes have multiple enrolment points in the year, so if you are adult enrolling on to an apprenticeship, employability/SWAP, distance learning course or higher education the best thing to do is refer to the pathway enrolment page.

For all other adult programmes which are based at the college campus, the majority have a start date of September, but some programmes also have January start dates.

Our maths and English courses start in September and January: Enrolment will take place in August for a September start or January for a January/February start.

If you are enrolling onto one of our maths and English courses, you will be invited in to complete an initial assessment. This will allow us to understand what your current knowledge of maths or English is so we can make sure you are enrolled onto a course of the appropriate level.

Once you have finished your initial assessment, you will either complete your enrolment the same day or be invited back into college closer to the start date to enrol.

We may send out a personal detail checking form prior to your enrolment, so we can ensure that the correct details are pre-printed onto your enrolment form to give you a quicker enrolment process.

At the end of this process, you will be issued with your college ID badge – a photograph will be taken during your enrolment appointment for your ID badge, and you will be issued with your initial timetable which will show the start date and time.

You also need to bring in the following items when you come to enrol:

  • Evidence for funding, such as evidence of low wage (see course fees)
  • Form of ID, for example;

    • Birth certificate
    • Driving licence
