Enrolment for apprentices
If you are enrolling onto an apprenticeship, this can be done at any time throughout the academic year.
But our engineering, construction, AAT and IT apprenticeships have specific taught input elements and a requirement for college attendance, so enrolments for these will usually occur at the start of the academic year.
In the first instance, you will need to complete an application form to express your interest in an apprenticeship. This can be completed in several ways:
- Enrolment form
- Study programme
- Results of your initial assessments
- Your first action plan that will be completed with your assessor on that day
- Copies of certificates you have provided
- Knowledge, skills and behaviours assessment
- Commitment statement
If you are under 18, the commitment statement will need to be signed by a parent/guardian, to give their consent to your enrolment and confirm all the information provided is correct.
Your enrolment paperwork will then be processed by our enrolment team in college, who will add your details onto the system, complete the connection to the digital apprenticeship service and allocate access to your e-portfolio system.
If you are enrolling on an apprenticeship that requires college attendance, you will receive a letter asking you to come in to collect your college ID badge, student handbook and timetable prior to starting your apprenticeship.
