Enrolments for employability courses

Our employability courses, run through Telford College’s sector-based work academies (SWAPS) have a different enrolment process to many of our other courses.

Students can only enrol onto one of our courses/SWAPs if they have been referred by their job centre coach.

But if you would like further details about the courses and programmes on offer through our work academies please get in touch.

Once you have spoken to your job coach, and they have sent a referral through to us, we will be in contact to invite you into college for an initial assessment.

This will be based primarily around maths and English to understand your starting point and suitability for the programme.

During this initial assessment we will also ask you to compete one of our enrolment forms which gives us all the information we need to start you on a programme. Following your initial assessment we will contact you with the next available start date for the programme you were referred for.
