Departmental tours
One of the best ways of really getting to know what life is like at Telford College is to request an exclusive departmental tour.
Our tutors and learner managers will be delighted to show you round specific study areas, explaining the content of each course and the grades which are needed to qualify.
You’ll get to meet current students and staff, and build up a real flavour of the curriculum and atmosphere around campus.
Since these tours are in very small groups, there is also plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Which study areas can be visited?
All of them – from sport, construction, automotive and engineering to catering, hair & beauty, music, media, health and social care, public uniformed services, our 7th Form A level centre . . . and many more.
How long are the tours?
Departmental tours would typically last around an hour.
Who can attend?
Prospective students, plus parents and guardians – it’s an opportunity for everyone in your family to see the college for themselves.
What happens next?
When the tours are complete, we will explain the application process, and there will be an opportunity to make an application there and then if you wish.
