The transparency 2022 information is provided as part of the ongoing condition F1 of the regulatory framework for higher education in England. It relates specifically to section 9 of the Higher Education and Research Act (HERA) 2017.

The information outlines the number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, in relation to their gender, ethnicity and socio-economic background.

The information is based on the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and Individual Learner Record (ILR) returns relating to the 2020-21 academic year.

Due to GDPR, the data has been ‘rounded and suppressed’ therefore any numerators and denominators have been rounded to the nearest 10, with any rounded to 20 or less has been supressed with an N.
