tell us a little bit about your role...
Having worked within the Apprenticeship industry for a number of years, I joined Telford College in July 2019 to be part of a new, ambitious team ready to support local businesses. My philosophy is very simple – to listen to the needs of the company I’m working with and give easy and honest advice. That’s always allowed me to be very successful in offering quality guidance for the right qualifications for existing staff development and recruiting the right Apprentices to be truly beneficial.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I’m there to support every step of the way – from initial interest and lots of questions all the way through to the completion of qualifications. There’s no better job satisfaction to see genuine staff development or a successful apprentice thriving and developing a career, adding value and skills to a company.
What do you do in your spare time?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and the challenges of an incredibly active (and stubborn) 3 year old! I’m also a sports enthusiast, having been a ‘have-a-go’ non league footballer for over a decade. I’m more than happy to be a spectator now and follow all sports with a keen interest. When I was younger and fitter, I completed the London Marathon in a respectable 3 hours and 43 minutes.
