tell us a little bit about your role...
Being part of The Apprenticeship team is the dream role for me, combining all my different experiences together. I get to speak to loads of talented people every day, I get to help, advise and give young people career guidance which is very rewarding. When I finally get to match someone to a dream job role and support their journey it really is one of the best feelings ever.
what about your career journey?
I studied Marketing and Retail at Sheffield Hallam University and have worked in a few roles since then in Marketing, Sales, Retail, and Management. I have always struggled with dyslexia which has made me quite a creative person, I always like to think outside the box and think of new, hands on and active ideas to motivate and promote change, positivity and success as an employee.
What do you do in your spare time?
When I was younger I used to be really active in musical theatre. Some of my favourite roles were Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors and Lily St. Regis From Annie as it was my first role as the baddie. In 2019 I was in a band for a while, I also auditioned for the X Factor and got through 4 rounds. I love being active – I am in a netball team I like to do park runs and 5ks, spinning and bootcamps. Last year I did the three peaks challenge in 27 hours for the charity MIND.
