10- Go to a festival, there are loads to choose from including:
Creamfields, Daresbury: 23 – 26 August
Reading & Leeds: 24 August – 26 August
9- Watch the must see movie of the summer- Incredibles 2
Helen is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob navigates the day-to-day heroics of ‘normal’ life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything.

8- Catch up with your mates
Make sure you save time to see your friends over the summer, it’s going to be a busy September so take some time to relax and enjoy yourself.
7- Tidy your room
Keep your parents happy and do some chores around the house, you never know they might just reward you with a new pair of trainers ready for the new term.
6- Make your own ice cream sandwich
It’s not all about spending money and going on holiday, why don’t you make something fun like an ice cream sandwich.
These are just some ideas, it’s over to you to create something tasty! If you post it to our Facebook page telfordcollege and #makeyourown.
It doesn’t have to be an ice cream sandwich but it does have to be edible!
5- Have a new haircut
Come to college to be who you want to be, dress how you want to dress (be sensible though) and have that haircut you’ve always wanted!
Now is your chance to be that person who you’ve always wanted to be and that applies to your career too.

4- Collect your GCSE results on the 23 August
Amongst all those films, festivals and ice cream sandwiches, please don’t forget to collect your GCSE results from your school. We are starting enrolment from Thursday 23 August but you will get a letter about your specific enrolment day.

3- Eat something you’ve never tried before
Let us know what you’re trying, tag us in on Facebook by using @telfordcollege and #tryingsomethingnew
2- Enrol at Telford College from 23 August onwards
As we mentioned in number four you can enrol on your course from 23 August, you will be receiving a letter with when you’re needed to attend your enrolment and everything you need to bring with you. However, if you need to pop in to chat with an advisor about your GCSE results you’re more than welcome. We’ll also enrol you there and then so you don’t need to make a return trip.

1- Have fun
This is and always will be number one, don’t miss out on having fun this summer.
You’ve worked hard at school and for your exams- September is the start of a new year and fun experience for you so please relax, kick-back, do whatever you need to so you’re re-charged and ready to go in September.
We’re open all summer so if you’d like to visit to explore the campus when it’s quiet please book a VIP tour and we’ll be more than happy to show you around.
