Telford College is looking for inspirational and motivational Maths tutors to join its growing team.
Vacancies have arisen in both the A level and Functional Skills departments for full-time Maths tutors at the Ofsted ‘Good’ college.
It’s an exciting time to be joining, with Telford College set to open a new digital and maths skills hub in Telford town centre’s Station Quarter in the autumn, alongside major investment at its Wellington campus.
“Maths qualifications are a vital pathway to higher quality and better paid career opportunities for the people of Telford,” says head of human resources Lorraine Edwards.
“In our Functional Skills department, we’re looking for someone who can deliver outstanding GCSE and Functional Skills Maths provision to our full-time students.
“In our Sixth Form centre, you’ll be working with our A level students to give them an exceptional student experience, leading to positive achievement outcomes.”
The college is looking for applicants with a proven track record of supporting learners as individuals and developing independent learning – as well as an up-to-date knowledge of and ability to apply a range of assessment practices.
