Following roadworks on the A442 that has increased traffic in and around Wellington and the college moving onto a single campus – there are now new arrangements in place to ease car flow at the exit at the end of the day between 4.15pm to 5.30pm.
If you or the student have mobility issues then please make the security guards aware and they will direct you to the cark park adjacent to the main college entrance.
We have agreement from AFC Telford to use their car park for pickup/ drop-off only. If you or the student are able to walk the short distance from the AFC Telford car park please use this for pick up and drop off as it will reduce the volume of traffic entering and exiting the main car park. Entry and exit should be from the Haybridge Road entrance only, otherwise a fine will be incurred from the Parking Eye system in operation if you leave via Regent Street.
If you are approaching from the Traffic lights by Domino’s please drop off or pick up on either AFC Telford car park, or the small Telford College car park (A block) on the right, before you get to the fire station.
Anyone entering the main college car park to collect an able bodied student will be directed onto the car park closest to the sports field, where you can either walk up to the entrance to collect the student, or have them meet you where you’ve parked. Access and exit from the car park nearest to the sports field will be via the mini roundabout next to the Orange Tree restaurant.
If you are attending for a sports booking you will be directed onto the car park close to the sports field and to make your way to park at the far end near to the Sports Dome.
