Telford College have teamed up with a local independent chain of Shropshire pubs who are looking to recruit both full time and part time Front of House Staff!
Craft & Jam have invited us to run a collaborative Customer Service pre-employment programme, which will equip jobseekers with the essential skills required within the hospitality and catering industry. Working with Craft & Jam, guaranteed interviews will be available for candidates who attend the three day training course, with vacancies available across several of the brand’s elegant establishments including The Malthouse and The Swan in Ironbridge, as well as The Last Inn in Newport.
Jon Hawkins, General Manager of The Malthouse said, “the training offered by Telford College allows us to recruit new aspirational team members with the relevant qualifications.”
The course is open to anyone over the age of 19 who is actively seeking employment and in receipt of either jobseekers’ allowance, universal credit, work-related employment support allowance or income support. Those who are employed but earning less than ¬£15,736.50 annual gross salary may also qualify for the training.
An information session will be held at 10.30am on Monday 19 November here at Telford College, Haybridge Road, Wellington, Telford, TF1 2NP. Please come to our main reception, ready for an initial assessment for maths and English and is an essential requirement for the training.
