Fantastic effort for MacMillanPublished: September 29, 2017
At Telford College we support charities in whatever way we can, on Friday 29 September Dan Blasczyk and Hannah Smith organised an event to raise awareness of the MacMillan charity and to raise funds.
Roheal Khan, Jordan Rushton and Reece Mottershaw helped prepare the display and serve the cakes who are on a personal & social development course at Telford College. We have raised £154 so far as a team and it was a really positive atmosphere all day.
A big congratulations to Jemima Antwi, AAT Level 2 student, who won the winning cake, made by Donna Jeffries, and was picked out by director of vocational and technical skills, Susan Taylor.
Thank you to ‘Tal Seehra Cakes’ who donated two boxes of delicious cakes which got raffled off today as part of the event.
Thanks you to Chelsea Jones and Megan Knowles health and social care level 3 students who baked three trays of cupcakes, Chelsea said: “as health and social care students we understand the importance of the service provided by the MacMillan trust.”
