We are launching a brand new Business Administration programme, offering adult learners a stepping stone into a multitude of new opportunities.
At their core, most forms of employment require administration skills to ensure the smooth running of an organisation.
Tutor Jane Sharp said, “a qualification in Business Administration can be a springboard into numerous different specialised opportunities such as reception work, hotel work, human resources, sales, travel and tourism and many, many more.”
Over the space of 8 weeks, learners will work towards a Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration, developing skills that can be used as the basis for many jobs, as well as covering vital employability skills to prepare individuals for the modern job market.
Jane continued, “Students will learn how to prioritise workloads, how to communicate effectively in the workplace and understand the routine tasks carried out by administrators on a daily basis.
“More specifically we cover basic computer skills such as Word processing and email along with how to use basic office equipment, making you an asset to any company.”
The programme will run on a Wednesday and Thursday, 9.30am to 4.00pm, starting Wednesday 6 February 2019 and will suit both jobseekers as well as those working part-time or on zero-hour contracts.
