It’s not too late to enrol for September coursesPublished: September 13, 2017
Telford College is holding a ‘late enrolment’ event this Saturday (Sept 16), for students who are still looking to sign up on a course this September.
The Haybridge Road campus will be open from 10am to 2pm, with information about a wide range of full-time, part-time and higher education courses.
It’s an ideal opportunity for someone looking to change career, boost skills to climb the ladder at their existing workplace, or return to work after taking time out to have a family.
Mother-of-three Stevie Williams, 32, from Bratton, did exactly that – and since attending an open day and enrolling at Telford College, she has now launched a whole new career as an author.
Telford College principal Graham Guest said: “The message to anyone who is worried they might have missed their enrolment slot is – don’t worry, it’s not too late to find the right course for 2017-18.
“We are still enrolling on many of our courses with start dates in September, and our helpful and friendly staff will be on hand on Saturday to help get young people on the right path.”
Students interested in signing up on a Telford College course need to bring their GCSE grades, and identification. They will be interviewed, and enrolled, on the same day.
Mr Guest said: “If you didn’t get the grades you were hoping for, come and have a chat with our team, who will help to find the right choice for you.
“We have adapted our range of courses to meet the needs of employers across the region, so our students are equipped with the skills which local businesses need.”
