A new menu was launched at Telford College’s onsite restaurant the Orange Tree at the beginning of the month and it’s proven popular with regular visitors.

The restaurant which is open to the public Tuesday and Friday 12 noon – 1.30pm lunch times will offer a new menu on a monthly basis, chef Stuart Leggett, who has a wealth of experience at top establishments including world-renowned Glen Eagles designed January’s menu to push his students to the top of their ability.

The menu includes: goujons of sole with lemon crushed peas as a started, pork schnitzel fried hens egg with parmintier potatoes accompanied with parsley butter. As a dessert your options include glazed lemon tart with compote of berries & chantilly cream.

Jane Dowdall who came with her husband from Doseley booked for lunch, said: “we will come every month to taste the new menus, we can before Christmas and the food is exceptional”
Visitor Mr Littlewood added: “I owned hotels for year, I was trained in a catering college and we love supporting the students. The atmosphere is fantastic and it’s a great place to bring friends. I will definitely be coming again.”
