Telford College is to host a second webinar to highlight the growing range of job opportunities for apprentices.
It follows the success of a first session, which attracted more than 140 people, and has already started to generate some important new partnerships.
The next event will take place on May 6 at 1.30pm. For more information, or to register, CLICK HERE or call 07887 661822.
College recruitment officer Lora Rogers said: “We have had some fabulous feedback from our first session, which generated several apprenticeship applications and CV submissions.

“We also had a number of people who have since joined our ‘Talk To Us Tuesdays’, which provide help and advice to parents and students about apprenticeships, applications, or CV writing.”
Feedback from the first webinar included comments like: “I just want to say thank you so much for how informative that webinar was. I had never even considered an apprenticeship before, but now I definitely think it’s going to be my next step.”
For the May 6 webinar, the Telford College team will be focusing on several key issues, including how to write a CV, why a CV is so important, and examples of do’s and don’ts in the world of apprenticeships.
There will also be a live question and answer session, and some useful interactive slides.
Telford College currently offers 38 different types of apprenticeship, and works with some of the UK’s biggest and best known businesses.
Beckie Bosworth, Telford College’s employer engagement manager, said: “Normally, at this time of the year, we would be holding hold a series of live events which give students and parents the chance to chat through questions with our team.
“These webinars allow us to offer the same service – but in a slightly different way – extending our help to students and their families wanting more information and guidance – as well as connecting them up with potential employers.”
