Principal’s welcome

Here at Telford College, we believe that modern-day education is about more than just qualifications – it is about creating pathways which prepare people for the world of work, and long-term success.

That’s why we bring together academic expertise, strong university links and a proud track record of working closely with employers to produce career-ready students.

We know you want to help your child make the right choices, and we recognise that it can be a challenge – after all, there are more options than ever these days.

Young people will be thinking about their future career, whether they’ll fit in or get the grades they need, as well as perhaps thinking about university – and the costs involved in eventually moving away from home.

Sometimes though, we believe that what students need most of all is support with their confidence or self-esteem, or a greater focus on how best to match their true skills, creativity, or technical abilities.

Telford College is constantly looking at innovative ways to engage and inspire young people, preparing them for their careers and adult life.

We want to raise your child’s aspirations, help them to set realistic but ambitious goals and develop their study and employability skills to make it happen.

And our doors are always open. If you’d like to discuss your child’s performance or answer any other questions which you may have, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – either in person, via a virtual meeting, by email or on the phone.

Our vision here at Telford College is that students always come first. We believe that everyone can succeed, and can assure you of our unwavering commitment to bringing out the best in every single person who is with us.
