You’ll develop the employment skills and gain qualifications that employers are looking out for, and get prepared to start your career or begin an apprenticeship.

Future Destinations

Aim

To get you onto a vocational course, an apprenticeship or employment.

Duration

12 weeks (full-time, 3-5 days a week).

Entry Requirements

No qualifications are required to start this course.

Programme

  • English and maths - functional skills or GCSE qualification (if no qualifications already held).
  • Take part in activities such as film making, photography, enterprise, team building, physical activity and events management, to help you develop your employability skills.
  • Get a taste of vocational areas, with sample lessons available to help you decide what suits you.

Pre-Apprenticeship Programme

Aim

Designed to get you ready for an apprenticeship. Successful students will be put forward for an apprenticeship after the programme.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements, but a commitment to attend each day to develop skills for employment.

Programme

  • Functional skills - English, maths or ICT.
  • Level 1 qualifications in health and safety in the workplace, customer service and personal development for employment.

Duration

12 weeks (full-time, 3-5 days a week).
