Why an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are real jobs – with plenty of hands-on experience, a salary and the chance to gain your qualifications – all while getting that real-world work experience you’ll need for your next step.
With an apprenticeship, you’re on a career path. There’s a plan in place and a pathway for you to take, and you’ll earn your salary from your very first day on the job.

Redundancy support service for apprentices

To support apprentices who have been made redundant or think they might be in the future, GOV.UK have launched the Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices.
Apprentices can call 0800 015 0400 to get free advice, find new opportunities, and access local and national support services offering financial, health and wellbeing, legal and careers advice.
