About the course

On this two-year course you will gain the knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare for employment, a higher apprenticeship or further education in the engineering field. The course is designed by BTEC and is widely respected by employers. It covers engineering disciplines that are vital for anyone serious about seeking employment as an engineer or progressing to higher education. Subjects such as engineering principles, working safely as a team, product design & manufacture and quality principles are taught alongside specialist electronic and maintenance units that make use of the expert staff and advanced teaching equipment in our cutting edge Discovery Centre. Successful completion of the first year awards the BTEC Foundation Diploma in Engineering with the second year topping up to the Extended Diploma in Engineering.

4 GCSEs at grades 9-4 including English and maths

Steel toe capped safety boots/shoes
