About the course

Ideal for those fascinated by global issues and current affairs, you’ll explore a huge variety of geographical elements, and discover physical geography – our environment, coastal systems and landscapes, along with urban and human elements. You will also design and complete an individual investigation, collecting data in the field and developing an exploration of your chosen issue. This investigation is worth 20% of your final grade, with the remainder made up from examinations.

5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 including English and maths. If taken at GCSE, a minimum grade 4 in geography. If GCSE geography has not been taken we’ll need to discuss your options with you
