Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship – Level 2

About the course

Health Care Support Worker apprenticeship will be based clinically on a ward, working under the direct supervision of qualified staff to deliver high-quality, patient care for all patients and their families/carers. You will learn to develop your knowledge to that of a competent Health Care Support Worker and contribute to compassionate care. There are opportunities to progress further throughout the bands, such as nursing.

Progression to Level 3 Apprenticeship; with the possibility of progressing towards the Nursing Apprenticeship

Entry requirements

Minimum age of 17, 3 year residency rules met, Maths and English at GCSE 4 or above / FS Level 2 already achieved or to be working towards and have completed successfully ahead of Gateway
