About the course

This short 3 week classroom based programme will give you the skills and qualifications to obtain your class 2, category C HGV licence and succeed in the sector.

Places are limited, bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Topics and units

Though this programme you will learn:

  • HGV – class 2, category C
  • Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service
  • Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing
  • Level 2 Certificate in Lean Management
  • Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading

Careers and progression

This programme will give you the skills and qualifications to enter the industry as a HGV driver, alongside giving you a guaranteed interview with an employer or agency in your area.

Entry requirements

You must be the age of 19 or over when starting the course, be unemployed or on universal credit or on a salary less than £18,525.

You must also have a minimum of entry level 3 in maths and English.

Additional information

This course is fully funded for people who are unemployed, on universal credit, or on a salary less than £18,525.
