We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Employer Relationship Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key connector between our organization and employers, developing meaningful partnerships that support workforce development, talent pipelines, and employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote apprenticeship and work-based learning opportunities to employers and manage the recruitment process. 
  • Work closely with employers to understand their business requirements, skills gaps, and workforce development priorities. 
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local, regional, and national employers, ensuring the college is well-positioned to meet their training and development needs. 
  • Drive the creation of bespoke training solutions to meet employer needs, including the development of tailored workforce development programs. 
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for employer engagement, ensuring regular progress reporting.

Skills, knowledge and expertise

Skills and expertise

  • A Proven experience in business development, employer engagement, or partnership management, ideally within the education or training sector. 
  • Experience managing employer partnerships, apprenticeships, or work-based learning programs. 
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with employers, senior leaders, and external partners.motivated and able to work enthusiastically to achieve targets without direction 
  • Understanding of Education and Skills Funding Agency funding and Levy and non-levy employers 
  • Knowledge of current trends and challenges in workforce development, apprenticeship standards, and vocational training.
