About the role

Telford College is governed by a Corporation made up of experienced professionals with a wealth of local, national and international business expertise. We are looking for fresh volunteers to join our well-established group of Governors.

The Corporation plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the college.

Our governors oversee the strategic direction and pace of the college, ensuring it remains focused on delivering a high-quality and economically focused curriculum.

They have a passion for vocational and professional education and training, and a commitment to supporting the college’s ambition to build on its successes and use the strengths of collaborative working.

Governors give their time to Telford College for the benefit of the local community – but they also get something back in return.

Being a governor provides an opportunity to expand your knowledge, skills, experience and network of professional contacts, and can be incredibly rewarding.
