Catering students cook up a treat

Catering students at Telford College cooked up a treat to raise cash for charity.

Students across the college were asked to select their favourite flavour in the run-up to National Cookie Day.

The choices were narrowed down to chocolate orange, white chocolate and raspberry, salted caramel, and Malteaser – and chocolate orange emerged as the clear favourite in an online poll.

Catering students made a batch of chocolate orange cookies and put them up for sale in the college’s Rendezvous meeting area, in return for a donation to the Midlands Air Ambulance charity, raising £35.
