The Haybridge campus in Wellington will be open from 5pm to 7.30pm on October 13, with student ambassadors and staff on hand to lead guided tours, showcase facilities and answer questions.

It is a chance to see the college’s creative media hub and music studios, £3.5 million automotive centre and workshops, on-site hair and beauty salon and catering kitchens, and the £3 million Discovery Centre for aviation and engineering courses.

Tours will also be available around the college’s 7th Form A level centre, plus the construction zone, sport and public uniformed services training facilities, and study centres for business, computing and apprenticeships.

Telford College principal and chief executive Graham Guest said: “After such a challenging and unpredictable year for us all, it is fabulous to be able to host an open event on campus once again.

“We will be showcasing our university-standard facilities, and a dynamic new curriculum and course guide which has been designed in close partnership with local employers.

“We are proud that our results place us in the top 10% of the UK’s education providers, with 99% of our A level students receiving offers from their first-choice university.

“The open event is the perfect opportunity to speak to our students, and staff, about the courses on offer, and college life.”

The college’s student hub will also be open for information about grants, transport, and other support on offer to students.
