Music students to perform at Shropshire Business Awards

Teford College music students will be performing at the 20th anniversary of the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards tonight.

Four performances will be included in the live stream of the event, which can be viewed at shropshirebusinessawards.co.uk from 6.30pm.

Charlotte Wray and Amber Hayden will be performing a cover of Adele’s hit Someone Like You, and Keely Archbold will be performing Rooftops by Jesus Culture.

The Zeniths – Jamie Evans-Tape, Josh Keay, Liam Walton and Cameron Carter – will be covering the Oasis hit Cast No Shadow, and Lara Collier will perform Love Me Or Leave Me Here by Little Mix.

Telford College is also sponsoring the Digital Innovation award at this year’s ceremony, and principal Graham Guest will be announcing the winner from the studio.

The college is also a finalist in the Contribution To The Community category.

The awards has a star-studded line-up this year, including the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, who has recorded a special message for the Shropshire business community.
