No teaching qualifications are needed, and you don’t need a university degree. If you already have the required trade skill set, we will give you all the support and training you need.

Business & Digital

We’re on the lookout for staff members to join our expanding Business & Digital team, which will be based at the college’s new Station Quarter site from September 2024.

It’s a chance to work in a modern town centre environment, delivering a curriculum with a focus on innovation – providing skills for some of the region’s fastest growing and best-paid business sectors.

You’ll be helping to deliver digital skills pathways from entry to university level, apprenticeships focusing on hardware, software, and multi-channel marketing, and digital T-Levels in support services, business services, and production, design and development.

Sixth Form

Come and join the largest A level study centre in the area, which will soon be growing even further by opening a new base in Telford town centre’s Station Quarter.

A standard sixth form focuses purely on getting students to university having passed their A levels, but we’re different.

With 100% pass rates in many subject areas, our A level provision is in the top 10% in the country. We take a more holistic view of our students, and want to help them to achieve for life, not just for the two years they’re here.

We are also proud to be part of the ‘One Million Mentors’ scheme, connecting students with experts from a wide range of high-flying businesses.

Maths & English

Join our ever-expanding Maths and English departments at an exciting time of change at Telford College. Including programmes catering for A level, GCSE, Functional Skills and ESOL levels of study, you will have the ability to affect a multitude of learners across the academic curriculum.

Getting to grips with maths is a vital step on the career ladder. You’ll give our students a grounding in everything from algebra and geometry to calculus and trigonometry, helping to teach them in an imaginative and innovative way.

English is the language of science, aviation, computers, diplomacy, sport, leisure and tourism. It’s in every walk of life; you will be teaching our students get to grips with English, open the doors for them to a host of exciting careers.
