Adult Care – Level 3 Remote Diploma

About the course

This qualification covers the underpinning knowledge and skills needed, when working in an adult care setting. Demonstrating leadership within the team.  There will be a combination of assessment methods for this qualification. Throughout the process there will be combination of mandatory and chosen units.

Topics and units

Alongside the practical experiences, some of the area’s you will study include:

  • Diabetes awareness.
  • Dementia awareness.
  • Supporting individuals to eat and drink.
  • Understanding personal wellbeing.
  • Health and safety
  • Moving and handling.
  • Understanding mental capacity and restrictive practice.

Entry requirements

  • Suitable for those with experience in the sector aged 19+
  • Someone with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Level 4 or above in GCSE English
