HND Healthcare Professions’ Support is a Level 5 Qualification designed to address the increasing demand for high quality, professional and technically skilled staff within the healthcare sector. The course provides learners with the critical skills and practical competencies desired by employers which are also requirements for further higher education study.
1. Law Policy and Ethical Practice
2. Demonstrating professional principles and values in health and social care practice
3. Supporting the individual journey through integrated health and social care
4. Fundamentals of evidence-based practice
5. Principles of health education
6. Effective healthcare practice using maths
7. Applied anatomy and physiology
Many exciting clinical based roles including, but not limited to: Operating Department Practitioners, Pre-registered nursing, Therapeutic Radiography, In-patient total assessment, discharge planning for patients, Occupational therapists, Mental Health support.
A previous qualification at Level 3 or equivalent e.g. Access to HE Diploma, A Level, T Level. A relevant maths OR English qualification at Level 2 or equivalent e.g. Level 2 Functional Skill in English or maths, GCSE Grade 4/C or above.
