Business intelligence consultancy Purple Frog Systems Limited has taken on a new apprentice, working in partnership with Telford College.
The company, based at Hadley Park, has welcomed Annabel Hemingbrough to the team, as part of a level three business administration programme.
Purple Frog specialises in all aspects of data architecture, data transformation, data warehousing, OLAP cubes and reporting systems.
Hollie Whittles, the company’s HR director, said: “We chose the business administration apprenticeship as the responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal and external customers.
“With a focus on adding value, Annabel’s role contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.
“The flexibility and responsiveness required will allow Annabel to develop a wide range of skills.”
As part of her apprenticeship, Annabel will be helping the Purple Frog team with social media and marketing for the huge data-sharing SQLBits Conference.
Hollie said: “SQLBits is the largest data platform conference in the world with more speakers, hours of content and the best networking event in the industry.
“Unlike other conferences over 95% of the content is non marketing driven, providing real world insight into successfully planning, building and operating a modern data platform.”
Purple Frog has just been awarded the status of Microsoft Gold Certified Partners. This lists the company among Microsoft’s most highly accredited independent technical support providers and is recognition of the excellent work delivered within the field of data analytics.
The company says it continues to grow from strength to strength during difficult times for businesses across the UK. The reward follows a dedication throughout the company to strive for excellence within their field.
